Happy Place initially began in 2018 as a wedding, family and lifestyle photography business. Inspired by my two oldest kiddos, I found myself constantly wishing that I could bottle up all of their magic, and the best way I knew how was to capture it through a lens - creating tangible memories to cherish forever. There's no greater joy than turning moments into memories that families will be able to look back on and cherish for years to come.

A few years later in 2022, we turned our Montessori play space daydream into a reality, and Happy Place Play was brought to life - another dream inspired by my sweet kiddos!

Happy Place Photography specializes in micro weddings, maternity, newborn, cake smash + family sessions. Happy Place Members receive $75 off one-hour photography sessions. We look forward to capturing the purest joy, documenting authentic magic + every little moment in between with you and your family.

Investment

Newborn Session, $595

Enjoy the comfort of our cozy play-studio and complimentary coffee, tea + sparkling water, as we capture the sweetest moments of your little one. We'll begin with portraits of just the baby, and continue by adding older siblings in, then parents, then the whole family altogether. Older kiddos are welcome to play while baby's photos are being done. Newborn wraps, headbands, accessories + props included.
In-home sessions available for an additional $75.

Maternity Portraits, $475

This session captures all of the beauty and serenity of a brand new chapter. Beginning with portraits of the Mama to Be, we'll then include siblings and partner. We encourage you to bring sentimental items such as an ultrasound photo, baby's first outfit, first pair of tiny shoes, and/or any other keepsakes.
These sessions include 1 hour of photography.

Family Portraits, $550

The laughter, the sillies, the joy + everything in between. We intend to capture your sweet family candidly and authentically. Fur babies always welcome!
These sessions include 1 hour of photography.

Cake Smash Sessions, $450

Let's celebrate your little one's first trip around the sun! These sessions begin with simple portraits of your child, sitting a mini wooden rocking chair, on a wooden crate, etc. Then we'll bring in the cake! These sessions can be held in studio or on location outdoors, weather permitting.
A simple + dainty handcrafted smash cake by Chickadee Hill Cakes is included.
Additional features such as a themed balloon garland, themed decor/backdrop, etc. can be added for an additional cost.

'Grow with Me' Package, $1,475

Includes maternity portraits, newborn session, 6 month milestone session and 1 year cake smash.
